Itinerary:
Day 1: Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will be awaiting you with the distinctive Ramasside Tours sign. You will then be transferred by A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: The Pyramids Tour
After breakfast, begin your tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to a rare collection spanning 5000 years of art, including the renowned Tutankhamen treasures. Explore the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, and the Sphinx. (Optional) Evening trip to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo – El Bahariya Oasis
Depart from Cairo to El Bahariya Oasis (385km) for approximately four hours. Visit the little museum in Bawiti and explore the tomb of Benantui from the 26th dynasty, the Amasis chapels, the Temple of Alexander, and the English house. Overnight camping, watching the sunset over the salt lake.
Day 4: The White Desert
Enjoy breakfast and drive towards the White Desert, stopping at the Crystal and Black Mountains. Visit the White Desert and marvel at the beautiful limestone formations. Overnight camp in the White Desert.
Day 5: Farafra Oasis
After breakfast, visit the oasis of Farafra, continue to Dakhla, exploring the picturesque village of El Qasr, Deir El Hagar, the Roman burial ground of Mozawaka, and the painted rock at the yellow desert. Overnight camping.
Day 6: Kharga Oasis
In the morning, drive to Kharga oasis, visit the temple of Hibis, Christian tombs of Bagawat, and the old town of Kharga. Have lunch at a local restaurant and explore the Nadora fortress area. Overnight camping.
Day 7: Luxor
Breakfast and head to Baris oasis (90 km). Visit the temple of Dush, enjoy a picnic lunch, and later, head to Luxor (300 km). Transfer to the hotel and overnight in Luxor.
Day 8: Luxor Nile Cruise
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Excursion to the Luxor Temple and proceed to Karnak. Transfer to the Nile Cruise. Board before lunch and enjoy an overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 9: Nile Cruise
(Optional) Hot Balloon ride over the Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Mountain on the Nobles. Visit the West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Overnight on the Cruise.
