Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo / Giza Pyramids / Egyptian Museum Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative, identifiable by the Ramasside Tours sign, will greet you. You will be promptly transferred in an air-conditioned car to embark on a tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum houses an extraordinary collection spanning 5000 years, showcasing over 250,000 genuine artifacts. A dedicated exhibit unveils the treasures, gold, and jewelry from the tomb of Tutankhamen, discovered in the 1920s.
Following the museum visit, explore the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. The colossal Cheops pyramid stands as an awe-inspiring structure. Conclude the day with a close-up encounter with the Sphinx, guarding a monumental funeral complex attributed to King Chephren.
(Optional) Consider an evening trip to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area. Overnight at your hotel.
Note: If unable to undertake the tour on the arrival day due to a late arrival time, it can be scheduled on the last day before your departure flight.
Day 2: Cairo / Nile Cruise / Aswan After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple. Overnight on the cruise.
Note: Cruise itineraries, schedules, and sailing times may be subject to updates due to Nile River conditions. Clients will still experience all planned attractions, albeit possibly in a different order.
Day 3: Nile Cruise / Edfu / Kom Ombo Sail to Kom Ombo, with afternoon tea and a visit to the temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue to Edfu, with dinner on board and a disco party. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 4: Nile Cruise / Luxor After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu and sail to Luxor. (Optional) Commence a day tour with a visit to the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple on the east bank of Luxor, guided by a Private English Egyptologist. The day includes exploring the obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. Dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor / Cairo Breakfast on board, followed by disembarkation. (Optional) For an unforgettable experience, consider a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Mountain of the Nobles. The flight lasts approximately 30-45 minutes, weather dependent.
Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. The excursion also includes the Valley of Kings’ tombs and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return journey, stop at the Colossi of Memnon and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Cairo, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 6: Cairo – Departure After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport, providing assistance with final departure formalities.
